Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
They desire for vulnerable families to become holistically transformed and empowered to stay together and live sustainably within their communities.
Uganda has an extremely high number of orphans, widows, and abandoned women. Additionally, it is ranked in the top 20 poorest countries in the world. The economy is underdeveloped and extremely fragile due to recent civil wars that caused deaths, violence, and suffering for the family unit. The James Place provides assistance with family preservation and sustainability to break the cycle.They bridge the gap through their various programs; bible study, preschool, childcare, farming God's way, and several sustainability initiatives that include sewing, business andartisan programs.
